Purely Nordic is a skin care product series with unique features.

A description of each product's uses, effects and ingredients follows:
Hand & Foot Salves RELAX, BALANCE & INVIGORATE
These are bees' wax based salves with circulation-enhancing, moisturizing and anti-bacterial functions. Each salve includes a forest essence which has the effect of stimulating the circulation. Rapeseed and Olive Oil in each of the salves moisturize the skin. Bees' wax has an anti-bacterial effect. Additional essential oils give each salve its distinctive scent and effect. Essential oil of lavender in "Relax" is sleep-inducing; essential oil of chamomile in "Balance" is calming to the skin; essential oil of mint in "Invigorate" awakens and stimulates.
These salves are ideally used before bed-time on cold hands and feet. They can also be used on the entire body for massaging tired muscles and for moisturizing. Can be used on small cuts/sores for disinfecting and healing.
RELAX
Olive Oil, Rapeseed Oil, Beeswax, Essential Oils of Pine and Lavender. Olea europeana, Brassica napus, Cera flava, Pinus sylvestris, Lavandula angustifolia.
A deeply nourishing and calming balm for the face. Particularly suited for use as a moisturizer prior to bed-time and for massaging the face. Honey and chamomile moisten, calm and have an anti-bacterial effect. A rich base of thistle oil, almond oil, coconut butter, cocoa butter and shea butter quickly absorbs into the skin to leave a smooth effect. Enriched with Vitamin E.
Salt combined with a bouquet of detoxing herbs such as birch, meadowsweet and horsetail make this scrub for the body an excellent total cleanse. Fine salt stimulates live skin cells, opens the pores, and removes dead cells. No need to moisturize the body following your shower, as thistle oil and cocoa butter leave the body soft and supple. Essential oils of juniper and bergamot leave a fresh and clean fragrance.
A bath mit designed to be used as a dry scrub before the shower/bath as well as in the shower/bath. The linen fabric in this mit gives it a gentle exfoliating effect. Machine washable. 60% linen, 40% cotton.
Our Green Attitude
Purely Nordic works with ecological/biodynamic ingredients wherever possible. Purely Nordic skin care products have the following features:
• A minimum of 95 % of ingredients in all of the products but one (Cleanse - 75 % only at present due to the unavailability of certain ingredients in organic form) are organic.
• No genetically modified ingredients.
• No synthetic perfumes.
• No ingredient has been tested on animals for cosmetic purposes since 1987.
• Ingredients are vegetable-based.
• No ingredients from animals are permitted aside from unbleached beeswax.
• Conserving ingredients may not be formaldehyde producing. Only alcohol or benzene-based substances can be used for this purpose. Paraben may not be used.
We also streamline an environmentally friendly attitude into all aspects of our production and delivery. We work with Nordic-based companies which must work with some of the strictest environmental standards in the world. We use the same shipping packaging throughout the production process to customer delivery. We suggest innovative ways to reuse our ceramic jars in everyday living.
